Jorge Ventura Ovalles

Architect & Head of Development 

Jorge is co-founder and CEO of Big Island Group. He is an architect with a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Virginia Tech as a Fulbright Scholar. He has graduate certificates in metropolitan studies and geospatial information technologies. Jorge and his Wife, Marivi, are crucial puzzle pieces to the creative growth of OLF. Jorge passionately values authenticity, creativity, and sustainability.

Marivi Perdomo Caba

Architect & Design Coordinator 

Marivi currently resides in the United States from where she coordinates, develops and oversees all of Big Island Group’s projects in her role as Chair of the Board.

She is an Architect with a master’s degree in Sustainability Management from Columbia University. She has experience in architectural design, sustainable construction, and has participated in research, resilience and sustainability management projects at the urban scale.

Our appreciation for our architect team goes beyond what words can express, as they laid down the blueprint for a beautifully crafted & sustainable schooling facility for our children around the world. A priceless gesture that can never be repaid. Marivi values cultural diversity, love, and imagination.


Nupur Patel

USA East-Coast Ambassador 

Our amazing team member Nupur is a Lab Technologist in New York. In her spare time, she volunteers for various charities like NYCares, mentoring children regularly. As OLF Ambassador, Nupur’s positive outlook on life and enthusiasm for our cause brings in the strong, bright spirit that keeps our team fresh and happy to work.

Using her experience with promotional strategies, she reaches a wide variety of groups and communities which effectively strengthens relationships with our supporters. She brings our organization major exposure & oversees charitable contributions. Nupur values adventure, creativity, and spreading love.

Nandie Oosthuizen

USA West-Coast Ambassador

Born and raised in South Africa, Nandie is a young social entrepreneur dedicated towards creating lasting positive social change in our world and inspiring others to do the same. As early as high school, Nandie started her first venture which successfully raised money and awareness for the crisis in Darfur. For her efforts, Nandie received the Washington Youth Philanthropist of the Year award in 2007. In 2008 Nandie was awarded the Youth Venture Startup Grant which helped her start up Hand & Heart Organization.

Later in 2008, Nandie was chosen to work along-side His Holiness the Dalai Lama, was recognized in a letter by the South African President, and in 2009 was named USA Young Immigrant of the Year for the incredible contributions she had made to the world at such a young age.

Nandie is the heart and soul of Only Love Foundation, as she assisted and mentored our founder, pointing us in the right direction during our early beginnings. She aspires to continue putting her skills, talents, knowledge and unique life experiences towards making a difference in the lives of others both in her professional and personal life. Nandie values prosperity, cooperation and equality.

Matt Gamiello & Erica Starkman

Project Coordinators

Matt & Erica embody the values of philanthropy and change-making. They promote fitness among young children in New York. Traveling to assist impoverished and developing communities, they lend their time and labor to help manage substandard areas, unafraid to get their hands dirty.

From building handmade gardening tools that are used restore soil quality, to guiding, and working with students in Homa Bay, Kenya’s primary school, our Project Coordinators bring life and positive energy to everything Only Love Foundation stands for. Matt & Erica value health, community growth and positive energy.
